My Very First Gallon of RAW MILK

We were so excited to get our first gallon of fresh raw milk on Wednesday.  We nearly drank the whole thing in less than a day!  It was delicious!  I drew a red line on the picture so you could see how much cream was on top.  I skimmed it off and used it to make butter.  Yes, that's right.  I made my own butter.  And I thought getting chickens made me feel like a country girl!

    I have wanted to try raw milk for some time now. Where did you get it and can I get some? I have been told that raw milk is so much more nutritious than homogenized irradiated pasteurized (dead) milk we buy at the store.

    I got mine from a friend here in Mt. P. There is also a place to purchase milk between here and Fairview on the West side of the road. I think it's about $4.50 a gallon. You could pick some up next time you are here. And yes, it is supposed to be so much better for you.
