Kimball loves to laugh

I promised Amber that I would put up a video of Kimball laughing. Little Man loves to laugh and is especially ticklish when he's naked. He is getting so big I can hardly believe it. He is truly a joy to have in our family.

Bruce, unfortunately, is still jealous of the doting attention that the baby gets. The pee problem has continued if not expanded in scope. Our new tactic has been to force Bruce outside as much as possible including first thing in the morning. Bruce HATES going outside first thing in the morning (no doubt because it's butt-freezing cold) and has started to put his foot down. Just yesterday, after opening his crate, I told him he needed to go outside. He went right back in. So a few minutes later I coaxed him out, petted him, and told him he needed to go outside. He went right back in his crate. This continued. So, this morning he didn't come out of the crate until he was sure that I wasn't going to make him go outside. Sometimes, I feel like Bruce is the one training us.

(Almost) Silent Sundays

Kimball is pleasantly and blissfully asleep.  He has been for several hours which means two things.  1) I have a few minutes to write a post and 2) I'd better hurry before he wakes up and demands food.

I'm having a nice Sunday afternoon, which has involved preparing for Monday.  I know we are supposed to prepare for Sunday, but I hope that it's not too much of a violation of the Sabbath to prepare for the week of a working mom.  So far I have done the dishes, made chicken enchiladas for lunch tomorrow--for me, for Bryce and for Bryce's mother, who is on baby duty--and wasted some time on facebook.  All I have left to do is make a long list of what needs to be done this week--things like, buy a new toilet seat and put a new rear windshield wiper on my car--and clean up the dining room table so Cyndy doesn't think we are slobs all of the time.

Ahh oh!  Baby's up.  Not much of a post.

It's Official

On Sunday we blessed Kimball in our ward.  Bryce did a beautiful job and made particular mention of Kimball's namesakes, Heber C. Kimball and Bryce's brother Ed.  Kimball looked very handsome in his white sweater outfit.  (The hat still makes me giggle; it's so cute.)  My mom made cute "Little Man" cookies with a "K" on them.  It was a nice day.  And I would like to give a shout out to my aunt Alice who shared a ham with us.  It was delicious.
