March 14-20: Lots of Happy Birthdays and a leprechaun

March 14.  On Saturday the boys were invited to go to Luke's Wild Kratts birthday party.  They had a blast and Charlotte had such cute games.

March 15.  On Sunday we celebrated Cyndy's birthday with Derek and his family.  It was really nice to see them again.

March 17.  Tuesday was St. Partick's Day.  A little leprechaun found out house and peed in the toilet and colored our milk green.  He also left the kids origami money.  I found out that last year the reason Stan wouldn't drink the green milk is that he thought the leprechaun had peed in it!  Haha.  Makes sense actually.

March 18-20.  When I found these jelly beans in the store they made me think of Grandma Norman.

March 7-13: National Legos and the Lamb of God

March 7.  On Saturday I installed a hammock for stuffies in an effort to keep the kids room a little more clean.  The kids thought it great fun and put as many stuffies in it as possible.  I hope it doesn't fall.  We also cleaned the car which was getting pretty grody.  Kimball was a good worker and earned enough money for a hot wheels toy he had been working towards.

After our cleaning duties, Kimball went to the birthday party of a boy in his class.  Then we went to our friends the Chamorro's.  We celebrated Maria's birthday and the kids had a blast hanging out.

March 8.  On Sunday I spent most of the day sick in bed with a horrible sore throat.  Bryce took the kids to church by himself which should earn him some sort of reward.  I did have enough energy to make chocolate icing for graham crackers.  A favorite Sunday treat.

March 9.  On Monday, our favorite Nanny London came home for spring break and spent a few days with us.  Stan was so excited.

For Family Home Evening we went to go see the Lego display of national monuments at the Fashion Place Mall.  It was pretty cool.

March 10-12.  In addition to work I spent the week shopping for matching Easter outfits for the family.

March 13.  Friday was a busy day.  We found Stan a hat for this Easter outfit.

We had a house full of kids while I watched the neighbors and Emme and Rigby.  Kirstin went to have her blood pressure checked.

Bryce and I went to hear Cyndy sing in the Lamb of God with her stake.  It was really nice.

Stan and Abby have taken to sleeping together.

February 28 - March 6: A Lunch, Snow, Dinner and a Play

February 28.  On Saturday Bryce was kind enough to watch Emme and Rigby in addition to our monkeys so that Kirstin and I could go hear Courtney speak at a luncheon for bloggers.  It was really fun and so nice to have some girl time.  Courtney gave an inspiring speech about using her Dad's motto in business: "Work hard, make good choices, and have fun!"

March 1.  On Sunday I tried to braid Abby's hair.  It might not be long enough.  We had a nice turkey dinner at John and Jill's to celebrate Papa's birthday.  Abby got some snuggles in before he heads back to Mexico.  Sadly, Kimball was sick and had to stay home with Bryce.

March 2.  On Monday I made a broken glitter want into a hair accessory for Abby.  I love that she has started to ask for things in her hair and will sit still while I do it.  The new clip didn't last long however, because it broke again.  We also had the neighbor boys over.  They built a fort and we made chocolate chip cookies.  I also boiled the turkey carcass from dinner and made soup.

For Family Home Evening we had a lesson on Samuel the Lamanite.  We let the boys pretend to be the bad guys and try and shoot Samuel down from a tower.  Stan was remarkably good at it, which made Kimball mad.

March 3.  We had a bit of a blizzard on Tuesday so spent most of the day inside.  We dropped the kids off at Kirstin's in the afternoon and went to dinner with my parents.  We had a really nice time chatting with them, but I didn't take a picture.  Fortunately my dad did so I can steal a picture from his blog later.  :)

March 4.  On Wednesday morning the sun was shining and Abby and Stan went out to play in the snow just after Kimball left for school.  I also managed to can the turkey broth from Monday.

March 5.  On Thursday we had our neighbor Emerson with us when I took Stan to school and he didn't complain when I dropped him off!  The boy played at another neighbors in the afternoon while I worked.

March 6.  We ended the week with a treat.  After piano lessons we grabbed some Arctic Circle and headed to see Evan and Miles in their school plan, Peter Pan!  Abby was riveted for the first half and then lost interest.  Kimball and Stan loved it and declared they wanted to be in a play too!

February 21-27: Arya comes to town!

February 21.  Saturday morning Bryce and I slept in at the hotel while Papa made Swedish pancakes for the kids.

Saturday evening we had Emme and Rigby over.  The two girls had such fun playing together.

February 23.  On Monday Amber, Chad and Arya flew in for a few days.  The kids found some play dough to play with.  Abby loved it.

We had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's and then went to Boondocks for Family Night.

February 24.  On Tuesday Abby couldn't stop talking about Arya.  The lucky girl got picked up for a girls date and went to the Gateway Children's Museum with Arya and her adult companions.

February 25.  On Wednesday we were able to spend the afternoon at the Aquarium.  There is a new play area that members can go to for free, so Grandma got a membership!  (Lucky kids).

February 26.  On Thursday I let Abby play in rice with her coat on and Stan threw a tantrum because I wouldn't buy him the toy he wanted.

February 27.  On Friday I let Abby make a big mess of bubbles.
