October 3-9: A Princess Party, Conference and a Lost Tooth!

October 3.  On Saturday Abby was able to attend Emme's third birthday party.  There were lots of princess dress ups and fun.  Abby wasn't very interested in dressing in anything but her wah-wah.  She eventually warmed up to all the sparkly accessories when she got home.  We had a great time.  Happy Birthday Emme!

October 4.  We enjoyed conference weekend by going up to the Hansen's on Saturday night so Bryce and Ed could watch the priesthood session together.  We also went up Sunday afternoon.  Stan and Abby turned a coffee table into a bed and then all three monkeys squeezed into the big bath tub.  They barely fit.

October 5-7.  It was a long week with Daddy working lots of late nights.  We played a lot with friends, Mommy worked and Stan taught Abby to make hand prints with water (which was kind of cute, but was done just before bedtime when Mommy was very tired and sick of messes).

October 8.  On Thursday night Kimball lost his other front tooth just before bed!

October 9.  The kids were out of school on Friday so we went and got Halloween Costumes.  Stan is a blue power ranger and Abby wants to be a dog, so she will use last year's costume.  We decided to add a few princess accessories, because, why not?  Kimball wants to be a werewolf and we will need to put his costume together.  After costumes we went to Cross E Ranch with Nana and Papa.  We had such a great time and even brought home pumpkins!

September 26 - October 2: A baptism, dental work, Nana and a missing Daddy

September 26.  Stan and Abby got to spend the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house with Arya.  I picked them up on Saturday morning so that we could attend Miles' baptism.  I sure love seeing these cousins grow up together.  In the evening Charlotte and Mom came with me to the General Women's Meeting at my stake center.

September 27.  We had Sunday dinner at the Hansen's with Arya, Amber and Ted and Lydia (Cyndy's sister and brother-in-law).  Stan climbed the big tree in the front yard for the first time.

September 28.  On Monday while the boys were at school Abby found a way to entertain herself while Mommy cleaned the kitchen.  She played with stamps and then shredded wipes under the guise of cleaning up.  I am sure loving a little alone time with this cute girl.  In the afternoon we visited the dentist and discovered Stan has 4 cavities!

September 29.  On Tuesday, Nana came to help out while I ran Bryce to work.  He is headed down to St. George for work for a couple of days.  Nana helped Kimball complete his reading for the month.  They read together for an hour and fifteen minutes straight!  After that we went out to dinner together.  What fun!

September 30.  On Wednesday after preschool, Stan convinced me to scooter to the park with our friend Emerson.  After dinner, piano practicing and homework we got out the Halloween decorations.

October 1.  Stan got some of his dental work done on Thursday morning.  After another long day without our Daddy we got to pick him up at the airport.  While we waited the kids used the sunroof to get a better view of . . . well, they had a nice view!

October 2.  It's so nice to have Daddy home to play games with.

September 19-25: Somebody turns 7!

September 19.  When Kimball got home from Grandma's and Grandpa's all he could talk about was fishing.  So he made his own pole with a stuffed worm on the end.

September 20.  Sunday was Nana and Papa's homecoming/farewell and Charlotte's ward in Bountiful.  Bryce was still recovering from his sinus infection so he went home while I took the kids for lunch at John and Jill's.

September 21.  Monday Abby walked her baby to school when we dropped off Kimball.

September 22.  Tuesday I cooked Kimball's fish for dinner.

September 23.  Wednesday was Kimball's birthday and he got to open presents.  This big guy is 7.  That same night he lost one of his front teeth.  It fell out in the nighttime.  That's the second time he's lost a tooth that way.

September 24.  Thursday we rode scooters in the circle with our friends (something we do quite often.  Stan especially begs to go outside and ride.)

September 25.   On Friday Abby got to play at Grandma's house with Arya who had flown down from Portland.  In the evening Kimball had his birthday bash at a trampoline park.  We had lots of friends and cousins there to celebrate with us.  Mom made a Pokeball cake.  It was such a fun night.

September 13-18: Apples and Fishes

September 13.  After church we attempted to take a family picture with 15 kids!

September 14.  On Monday Stan got to take a field trip to an apply farm.  He was picked as a volunteer to be an apple in order to demonstrate the apple bag.  He makes such a darling apple.  After the field trip we met up with Ginny, Sam, Xela, Willa, Nana and Papa at the Aviary for one last outing with cousins before they return to California.

September 15.  Abby picked out wings at the dollar store.  Here she is on the way to piano lessons.

September 17.  Abby doesn't like the car wash.  She does, however, like the old Halloween costumes.

September 18.  On Friday Kimball didn't have school so we headed north and went to the Dinosaur Park with Grandma Hansen.  Kimball and Stan got to stay over and go fishing with Grandpa.  Kimball requested a fishing trip for his birthday present.  He had been asking to go all summer.  Grandpa got him a fishing pole.  The lucky guy caught a fish he was able to keep!
