May 2-8: Arya comes to visit and Abby spends three nights away from Mom (sniff!)

May 2.  On Saturday we had Emme and Rigby over and our kids had swim lessons too.  Oh, and Kimball had a birthday party.  Super simple day.

May 3.  On Sunday Abby worked on her fashion sense and Stan had to have a picture too.  If I recall correctly the sister missionaries also came over and taught us a lesson.

May 4-5.  Cousin Arya came to visit.  The kids got picked up on Monday afternoon and went to spend the night.  The next day Grandpa brought the boys back to school and then on Tuesday afternoon we met up at the aquarium.  Afterward we found a hill to roll down.  Even grandpa joined the fun.

May 6-7.  Abby spent two more nights with her cousin Arya, sleeping in the same bed together.  On Thursday we met back up for lunch at McDonald's and to say goodbye until next time.

May 8.  The kids have been spending a lot of time at our friends the Ernest's while Mom works.  They love jumping on the trampoline.  I am really grateful for good neighbors who can help me out and such good kids who don't complain too much about Mom working so much.  I hope things ease up for Summer.

April 25 - May 1: Mom and Dad sometime have to work a lot.

April 25.  Saturday we had an awesome time at Rigby's birthday part at the nicklecade.

April 26.  Sunday nap.  Comfy.  It was also Ed's Birthday celebration. The kids picked out some great gifts for grandpa.

April 27.  Gearing up for a long week of Mom and Dad working by having dinner at Costco.  Bryce had a big crowdfunding conference this week that he was instrumental in organizing and I had a closing with the firm.  I hope we all survive.

April 28-May 1.  Super busy week, but the kids found a large lady bug and I made a craft at girl's night with the neighbor hood girls.

April 18-24: Swim Lessons and Family Pictures

April 18.  On Saturday the kids finally got back into swim lessons.  They have been begging forever.  Abby was a bit of a barnacle through her parent/class.  She didn't hate the water, she just wanted to be attached to me.  The boys on the other hand love swim lessons.

In the evening we got family pictures taken.

April 19.  Sunday was my first day at church as the Relief Society President.  Then we went to dinner at John and Jill's.

April 20 -22.  I spent the week getting ready for the Parental Defense conference.  Abby refused to nap but took a rest on the stairs.

April 23-24.  On Thursday and Friday I was up at the Zermatt for the conference.  They give me a special service award for my dedication to the PDA.  That was nice.

While I was at my conference the kids got to go to Grandma's and Grandpas.

April 11-17: A Rock Show, A New Calling and Snow!

April 11.  We woke up at our hotel and ate breakfast.  We had arranged to meet Ed and Cyndy at a rock show at the Golden Spike Arena, but we had about and hour to kill before it was time so we played angry birds.

The kids had a blast at the rock show picking out geodes and other rocks to buy.

April 12.  The kids looked really cute in their Sunday best.

On Sunday I was sustained and set apart as the new Relief Society president.  I bought myself paper plates as a present.  More garbage but fewer dishes.

April 13.  Monday morning I decided to light up the buddy burner and see how long it took to boil water.  After 45 minutes I decided it was a fire hazard and the water was hot but not boiling.  We also set up the hammock.

April 14.  Tuesday we took the hammock down because it started to snow.

April 15.  By Wednesday we had 7 inches of snow.

April 17.  On Friday I went to the wedding reception of my cousin Jill's son Clay.  It was so nice to catch up with cousins.
