My days have become mundane

I keep waiting for something exciting to happen so that I can blog about it. I'm still waiting. Today I managed to change the sheets on my bed, do three loads of laundry, give my baby a bath (He peed on himself twice yesterday and his diaper leaked three times), and go to the grocery store--in addition to a lot of nursing since I have cut Kimball off the bottle. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but it was a really full day.

  1. Life is very different after the carreer! Here's some advice on the diaper thing. Never trust the weight limit on the package. If your baby is going through diapers faster than normal, it's time to go up a size. I swear this is something they should teach you in the hospital. :-)

  2. Sounds like my day. Went to class, did homework, cooked dinner, did dishes, went to bed. Wake up and repeat :)

  3. Oh, I think you're doing great! That is an EXTREMELY productive day, for anyone with a newborn!
I usually set one goal a day... Today: Bath.
    Tomorrow: store.
    Next Day: Sheets.

  4. Sherrie, how many diapers is normal? I seem to go through them like tissues as it is.

  5. I believe 8-10 a day is normal, but it's been...oh wait my five year old is still in diapers! I just remember thinking I was going through soooo many a day just after the first couple weeks and my older/wiser sister pulled me aside and let me in on the secret. So the bigger diapers will drown little Kimball, but they will hold more. They do seem to stay in sizes 2 and 3 forever. So if he seems to be going through more than normal for more than a couple days it's time to go up a size. Hope that helps!
